Conservative activist Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University. He was answering a question on mass shooting

Right-wing political commentator Charlie Kirk was shot at during an event at Utah Valley University. According to reports, the gunshots were heard when he was asked about mass shootings and he was going to answer. Attendees went for cover and the multiple witnesses said they saw Kirk bleeding. President Donald Trump put out a post on his Truth Social urging everyone to pray of Kirk. "We must all pray for Charlie Kirk, who has been shot. A great guy from top to bottom. GOD BLESS HIM!" Trump wrote.






“We do know there was a shot fired from the top of the Losee Center,” UVU said in a statement. “Someone appeared to be at the top of that building or somewhere inside. We don’t know if they’ve been apprehended.”


"Say a prayer for Charlie Kirk, a genuinely good guy and a young father," Vice President JD Vance posted on X. "Pray for Charlie Kirk now," posted Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy.

Utah Gov Spencer Cox said he is being briefed by law enforcement about the shooting. Cox said in a post on X that “those responsible will be held fully accountable.” “Americans of every political persuasion must unite in condemning this act,” the governor said.

California Governor Gavin Newsom said the attack on Charlie Kirk is dusgusting, vile and reprehensible. "In the United States of America, we must reject political violence in EVERY form."
