NEW DELHI: Delhi police Saturday lodged an FIR against an AI-generated deepfake video that allegedly maligns PM Modi and his late mother. BJP's Delhi election cell convener, Sanket Gupta , filed a complaint alleging that Congress ' Bihar unit posted the fake video on its official X handle on Sept 10.
The complaint also cited a separate incident during an INDIA bloc event in Bihar on Aug 27-28, where supporters of Congress and RJD allegedly used abusive and obscene language against the PM and his late mother. A response from Congress was awaited.
