Normalisation method applied to ensure fairness
As the examination was conducted in multiple shifts with different question papers, NTA has applied a percentile-based normalisation method. This ensures that all candidates are evaluated fairly, regardless of the difficulty level of their specific exam session.
CUET UG 2025 included a total of 37 papers across 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects, and one general aptitude test. All exams were held in computer-based test (CBT) mode with 50 compulsory questions per paper. Students could select a maximum of five subjects.

Postponed exams included in final result
The results include marks from the accountancy/book keeping, Tamil, and Urdu papers, which were postponed earlier and later conducted separately by NTA. These have been fully integrated into the final scorecards released today.
Jamia and other universities using mixed admission methods
Not all universities will use CUET UG for all programmes. For instance, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will admit students through CUET UG 2025 only in select courses. Other courses such as B.A. (Hons.) Political Science, BSc Mathematics, and BBA at JMI will continue to use internal entrance exams or Class 12 results.
