Royal fans swoon over new Prince William and Princess Kate picture

The internet is swooning after a stunning new photo of the Prince and Princess of Wales hit social media this week. The image was taken during the couple's royal engagement in Sunningdale to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II, marking the three-year anniversary of her passing.

The Prince of Wales was originally scheduled to make a solo public appearance on September 8, but Princess Kate was by his side on the day. The image shows Prince William fondly looking over at his wife, who is making an animated expression as if engaged in conversation.

One fan on X wrote: "Love the way William is looking at his wife" alongside a red heart emoji. Another wrote: "The way Prince William looks at Princess Catherine always shows such deep love and admiration."

Another royal fan on X wrote: "He's always looked at her that way. Since many many years. You can tell he's crazy about her."

Another added: "He looks so proud and very much in love, terrific."

Prince William and Princess Kate visited the National Federation of Women's Institutes in Sunningdale, Berkshire, where they chatted with members and learned about the group's community projects.

The engagement marked the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's death and during the visit, they were impressed by the variety of sweet treats brought members.

Prince William joked, "some of these would win Bake Off," and admitted, "chocolate brownie is my nemesis," while sampling the cakes.

The Prince and Princess of Wales only returned to carrying out royal duties last week, having taken a seven-week break for the summer holidays.

Kate and Prince William undertook a joint engagement at the Natural History Museum as their first public appearance on their return.They carried out individual public appearances on Saturday supporting the England and Wales national teams at the Women's World Cup.

The Prince of Wales visited Spiral Skills today, a youth organisation in Lambeth, which has received funding from the Homewards Fund to expand their services for young people in the local area.

On Wednesday, September 10, William will visit a pioneering new mental health hub run by the Jac Lewis Foundation, which is launching at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, with backing from The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales.
