When it comes to natural cleaning methods, white vinegar and baking soda are hailed as being the products; however, they are not always powerful enough when it comes to certain chores like oven cleaning. Having put them both to the test, as well as "every oven cleaner under the sun", cleaning enthusiast Corinne, who runs the lifestyle blog Slay At Home Mother, said that she never quite got the results she wanted.
With oven cleaning being one of her most "hated" chores, Corinne was after a no-scrub idea, and found the baking soda paste method, and got really excited, hoping that maybe this cleaning paste would be the one that finally worked. The idea behind the baking soda method was that the baking soda and vinegar break down all your oven door grease and grime "while you prop your feet up for 20 minutes and do nothing". Unfortunately, this method didn't do the job well, as Corinne said: "I tried it and didn't care for the results."

Her luck then turned as she ended up finding something that "worked even better" when it comes to tackling the grease and grime on your oven door glass.
She said: "There are a few ways you can clean your oven door glass on the inside of your oven, depending on how much grease, grime, and baked-on food you have.
"I know quite a few people are fans of the baking soda and vinegar method, but this didn't work on my super-nasty oven door glass."
"Something else worked - something I wasn't expecting at all." Corinne decided to try one of her favourite tools in her cleaning collection - a magic eraser.
She shared how she uses them to clean her skirting boards, cabinets (they've removed Sharpie from her white bathroom cabinets plenty of times when she thought she had permanently stained them), and to help eliminate the scuff marks left over from her sons kicking the doors with their boots in the wintertime.
The cleaning enthusiasts said: "I used my secret weapon to scrub our oven door glass, and couldn't believe the amount of gunk and brown water that came up with the eraser.
"I scrubbed and scrubbed to get the leftover, caked-on bits of whatever that was left on the glass, and it came up clean. I feel like a total pro when it comes to cleaning the oven glass door now."
Magic erasers are made of melamine foam, which essentially acts like a very light sandpaper. This is what helps them take up those super tough stains on oven glass doors.
To use them, dampen the sponge, use small circular motions until the stains and grease are lifted, then wash the surface clean to remove any residue.
