The M4 is shut in both directions as monster gales spark chaos across Wales in the wake of Storm Amy. The road is closed between junction 37 and 38 with huge queues building on both sides of the motorway.
According to traffic monitoring service Inrix: "M4 Kenfig Viaduct in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to strong winds from J38 A48 (Margam, Neath Port Talbot) to J37 A4229 (Pyle/Porthcawl, North Cornelly)."
It comes just after the M1 was brought to a standstill when a tanker crashed and overturned.
