Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper has issued a new update regarding series five of the hit series. The popular Amazon Prime show features Jeremy Clarkson's farm, Diddly Squat, which has recently been hit with devastating news. Last week, the former Top Gear presenter announced that his livestock tested positive for TB. Then, the TV star shared another heartbreaking development: one of the new puppies that his dog Arya gave birth to had died. Jeremy also stated that the farm will remain shut for "certainly two months because that's how long we have to wait before we do another test," but disclosed that the farm shop remained unaffected as "it's only cows that get affected by it".
Kaleb has now given fans a new glimpse into series five of Clarkson's Farm. Posting on his official Instagram account, the father of two posted footage of himself driving a tractor in one of the farm's fields, but experienced a filming issue.
The footage, captioned with the simple words "series five" and laughing emojis, showed Kaleb laughing as he said: "Clarkson's Farm filming. You've got to go around the film crew. They don't move anymore. They just stand there and go, 'we are not moving'." The GPS comes in handy."
His post prompted an outpouring of comments from followers. One person typed online: "Can't wait for the next season!!!" A second also chimed in: "I was at the farm today, I saw somebody in the field, not sure who, but I was so happy to see one of you. I love you all!!"
A third also commented: "I know Clarkson's Farm series cant go on forever (if it could I wouldn't complain) but I'd love to see a world tour of your guys going to different farms over the world, I think it would be great seeing every different farming culture and techniques."
No release date for series five has been confirmed yet.
Last week, Jeremy shared the sad news with fans with a crushing update on X, writing: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We've gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated."
Bovine tuberculosis - or bovine TB - is "caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium bovis (M. bovis), which is closely related to the bacterium that causes human and avian tuberculosis. The disease is respiratory and can be commonly transmitted "through nose to nose contact and also through contact with saliva, urine, faeces and milk".
The heartbreaking news came just hours after Kaleb shared emotional news of his own. He told followers that criminals had stolen his farm equipment, including one of his tractors and a post knocker, used for forcing fence posts deep into the ground.
