Summer is set to arrive early this year as a sizzling mini will engulf the UK next week. Soaring temperatures reaching into the high 20s will cover the majority of England as the brings a weekend of sunshine. from Netweather show the heat beginning to build next week, with swathes of red, orange and yellow pushing up from Europe. On Friday, May 30, all four nations could see figures of at least 20C.
At 3pm next Friday, could see highs 26C, with surrounding areas hovering around 25C. From the capital city up to Newcastle in the north of England, a warm average of temperatures between 23-26C is forecast. Wales will also see similarly hot figures, as the country can expect highs of up to 23C.

The south west will experience similar highs of 20-23C, with the north west of England and Scotland seeing warm, but slightly cooler temperatures. In the east of Scotland, the mercury will climb to 21C, with the rest of the country seeing a milder 13-19C.
However, temperatures are expected to get even hotter on Saturday, May 31, as the UK is plunged into a deeper shade of red. Netweather maps show the entire south and middle of England covered in soaring figures reaching close to 30C.
London will see the highest figure, as the capital is set to peak at 28C at 6pm next Saturday. Norfolk and surrounding areas will have temperatures just as hot, staying around 26-27C.
The south west will also be warmer than the day prior, hiking up to 24C in Devon and 23C in Cornwall. Wales will similarly be slightly hotter than Friday, with average figures of 22-23C.

Despite the Iberiean heat blast, the north of England will narrowly miss out, with milder temperatures of 16-17C. Scotland and Northern Ireland will have a similar, pleasant feel, with a maximum digit of 20C in the evening.
The Met Office says the lead up to the heatwave will consist of "changeable conditions". A mixture of sunshine and blustery showers are expected next week, with the southeast of England seeing the driest and brightest temperatures.
Towards the end of the week, the northwest may see the wettest conditions, with the east and south east being the most sheltered.
