Good Morning Britain star Sean Fletcher has been flooded with support after announcing a new family member. The TV presenter, known for his appearances on the ITV daytime show, informed his fans on social media that he's welcomed a new dog into his family. He penned: "I have news. Come with me to meet the newest member of our family. And given how much she already runs, hopefully in the future, the newest member of our run club.
A dad, daughter and dog running trio." In the sweet footage, Sean is seen filming himself driving to go and pick up his new cocker spaniel puppy, before viewers got to see Mabli running around the garden with lots of energy. Many of Sean's colleagues and followers flocked to the comments section. Charlotte Hawkins gushed: "Ah look at her!!" whilst another fan said: "Oh Sean, I'm so pleased for you and your family. . She is gorgeous x."
A third person also chimed in: "We'll forgive the wee in the house because she's far too cute for any of that." During one clip in the footage, the puppy excitedly went to the toilet inside Sean's house.
Earlier this year, ITV announced huge changes to the scheduling and production of its award-winning Daytime shows.
From January 2026, Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes, running from 6am to 9.30am daily, and will be produced by ITV News at ITN in London.
The change will see ITV bring all its national news gathering into one hub, with Good Morning Britain benefiting from the journalistic and production resources already in place for national news bulletins, for the website, and for digital platforms including ITVX.
Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, explained the changes: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres.
"These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever."
