The US President claimed that ending the Pakistan-Afghanistan conflict is easy and he can stop the conflict between the two neighbours without any difficulty. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Friday (local time), Trump said that I have to run America but I like to end wars. He claimed that by stopping many wars till now, he has saved millions of lives.

Earlier, late Friday evening, Pakistan carried out airstrikes at several locations in Afghanistan's Paktika province. These latest attacks came just hours after both sides agreed to extend a 48-hour ceasefire until the Doha talks conclude. Afghan media outlets reported that eight cricketers, who were returning home after playing a match, were killed in the latest atack. Security sources said at least 17 people were killed in the airstrikes in Paktika province.
Doha meeting will be a quest for peaceFollowing days of violent clashes, the two sides agreed to a ceasefire on Wednesday evening. The two sides are meeting for diplomatic talks in Doha. Afghan sources said a Pakistani delegation has arrived in Doha for the talks, including Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, the National Security Advisor (NSA), and ISI Chief Asim Malik.
