Chiefs at Netflix are keen to build a series looking at the creation, global domination, split and then comeback of The Spice Girls - with Posh Spice at the helm.
Conversations have reportedly happened behind closed doors for the ultimate docuseries on the iconic band. With insiders saying Victoria is vital to such a show, as she is the only way it will become a reality.
For the last decade, Mel B and Geri Halliwell have been trying to create either a film or a show covering the Girl Power group’s rise in the 1990s. But these efforts have failed because of many factors, including fallout and Victoria’s distance from some projects.

A source said: “David and Victoria are really valued at Netflix. The senior figures admire the couple for taking the step of telling their stories with them. And the results have been incredible. David’s show won an Emmy and remains a huge hit. Already, the interest in Victoria’s show is enormous.
“That has sparked a desire to continue working on projects and ideas. And obviously, The Spice Girls' story is one hundred per cent a goal to have a documentary on.

"For three decades, other people have told the girls’ stories, but no one has ever had the whole truth of their journey together on screen told fully.”
They say Victoria is a “key player” in it and explain: "She has shied away from opportunities before and if she does it then the likelihood everyone will come out.
But there is a desire from Netflix to give the girls a platform to discuss their takes on that astonishing time - and ideally together stay around talking about it. It would be pure dynamite and amazing content.
"Naturally given that Studio 99 have delivered these two shows so far with so much captivating and powerful content it would be a natural fit for that project plan to land at their door." The insider said that “the discussions have been gently raised about a Spice Girls project”.
Victoria’s Netflix series launched this week, with her opening the doors on family life and her fashion business. Four of the five Spice Girls reunited for the premiere, with Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Horner all turning out in support. But Mel B was absent.
The Mirror has contacted Netflix for comment.
