An Oasisfan tragically plunged to his deathat the band's sold-out concert in Wembley Stadium last night as witnesses described the "horrific" scene.
The man, aged in his 40s, is believed to have been sat in the upper tier of the 90,000 capacity stadium when he fell. Emergency services raced to the man last night but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The Met Police confirmed officers rushed to reports of an injured person at 10.19pm, towards the end of the band's reunion gig.
Police added that officers at Wembley found the man with "injuries consistent with a fall" and have urged any witnesses and concertgoers with information about the tragedy to reach out to The Met. Oasis said on Sunday they were "shocked and saddened" after hearing of the tragic death of a fan.

Wembley stadium's upper tier holds the majority of the 90,000 seats, according to Wembley Support Portal. The highest stands are roughly 170ft above the ground.
Horrified concertgoers have taken to Facebook to share their account of the tragic moment. One asked: "Did anyone else see the guy drop from the upper tier last night?"
Another fan responded, saying they had a "panic attack" after witnessing the tragic moment. They said: "I was block 502 row 32. I have never felt so sick in my life. I got to my seat and had a full blown panic attack which has never happened before.
"I was shaking and crying. I was so scared to get down and have to go back up as it was such a high demand show. But with the state I was in, Wembley moved me to block 501 row 8. Still high up but no where near as steep. I was so grateful."
Another concertgoer, in a lower tier, described seeing emergency crews rush to the spot where the fan hit concrete after the plunge. She wrote: "I was directly underneath in section 211.
"At first glance I thought it was a coat falling from the above tier but then I looked and saw the bloke on the concrete. It was horrific to see."
A third witness said: "The guy fell from a balcony. Paramedics came rushing over. There was a lot of screaming and shouting. It was a big fall." The concertgoer told MailOnline: "God knows how it happened. It was so tragic. I don’t know how on Earth it happened. It was heartbreaking. He was only young."
Supporters of the band have flooded social media with share heartfelt tributes. One wrote on X: "Absolutely heartbreaking news. No one should go to a gig and not make it home. My thoughts are with his family and friends tonight.”
Another added: "This hits hard. We were all there for the same reason — to celebrate the music we love. RIP. So devasting. That poor man must have been estatic to be there and it ended in tragedy. I feel awful for his family and friends and those he was there with."

A Wembley Stadium spokesperson said: "Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall. Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died.
"Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. The Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. Tonight’s Oasis concert will go ahead as planned."
In a statement released today, Oasis said: “We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night. Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”
The Mirror has contacted the Metropolitan Police for comment.
