Jane Moore had to apologise to Loose Women viewers after GK Barryswore live on air. The journalist, 62, was in her slot as relief anchor on the ITV lunchtime chat show when she, along with former I'm A Celeb co-star GK, Nadia Sawalha and Denise Welch set about doing a viral TikTok challenge.
The ladies had to bang the drum exactly when they thought Whitney Houston was about to come in with her iconic note from her cover of the classic Dolly Parton track I Will Always Love You and a confident GK said: "Get ready to see greatness," before failing completely and uttering: "S***!" live on air.
The TikTok star covered her mouth immediately as the audience burst into fits of laughter, and Jane said: "Can we please just apologise for the passionate language? Honestly, who knew that such a simple item could co so catastrophically wrong?" But GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, was quickly forgiven as it turned out to be a special day for her on the panel. It comes after a Strictly Come Dancing star pulls out of show as he makes career announcement.

Jane said: "We're going to forgive Grace for her little word there because today is her year anniversary on the show," and the studio audience greeted her with a round of applause.
The incident did not go unnoticed with viewers, who flooded social media with their reaction as they seemed to take it all in good humour. One joked: "Who said daytime TV was boring…"
A second viewer weighed in: "That’s what you get for being cocky GK," and a third said: "I know it’s cool to hate loose women but gk barry looking down the camera and saying s*** has me howling." A fourth viewer, shocked upon their first time tuning in, added: "watching loose women for the first ever time and 5 minutes in i see gk barry swearing on live television im crying."
The television star went from posting hilariously unfiltered content on TikTok during the Covid lockdowns in 2020, to launchingher podcast, Saving Grace in 2022. Last year she made history by becoming the youngest panellist to join ITV staple - something the in-demand 25-year-old said was a 'dream come true' for her.
It was during an exclusive chat with OK! that GK revealed that though she feels right at home now, it was a rather scary prospect stepping into the studio to do her first few shows, with the thought of debating with one particular panellist making her more nervous than others.
"I was terrified. I begged them, please wait till I’m in the groove before you put me on the panel with Janet Street-Porter!", revealed the witty star, with trademark honesty. "Then I did my show with her and she was adorable. But I was so scared at the beginning, thinking, this audience doesn’t know me — I’m some young woman off TikTok. But now I love it."
Grace, who was born in 1996 - the same year that Loose Women first came on-air, added: "Sitting with Kaye [Adams], Denise [Welch]... Loose has me, Olivia [Attwood], Frankie [Bridge] giving a different perspective. It’s fascinating, they’re all such interesting women. They’ve lived a life, you know?"
And the social media sensation, who went public with her footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford last year, admits that she does battle with imposter syndrome, from time to time, when she thinks of her incredible path to fame. "I started this whole thing by accident, I expected nothing — though when I was a kid I did want to be a Pussycat Doll, which didn’t quite work out. Being in the public eye was an amazing accident."
