Movie directorTim Burton and actress and model Monica Bellucci have split and announced the news in a statement.
The exes had been dating since they reconnected in October 2022, but sparked dating rumours long before they confirmed their relationship the following year in October 2023. During their relationship Tim, 67, and model Monica, 60, also worked on their first movie together, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, which was released last year.
However, three years on from confirming they were an item, Tim and Monica have gone their separate ways.
"It is with much respect and deep care for each other that Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton have decided to part ways," the pair announced in a statement.
Edward Scissorhands director Tim was last pictured with Monica in June, when Tim was seen planting a loving kiss on Monica's cheek while on stage at the 71st Taormina Film Festival, Italy, in June this year.

In 2023, Monica discussed her relationship with Tim in an interview with Harper's Bazaar España. The star gushed over the romance and told the glossy fashion magazine: “I found in Tim [Burton] a wonderful spirit. I met a spectacular soul.”
She previously told Elle France: “What I can say... I'm glad I met the man, first of all. It's one of those encounters that rarely happens in life... I know the man, I love him, and now I'm going to meet the director, another adventure begins.”
Monica added: "I love Tim. And I have great respect for Tim Burton."
The director and model are understood to have first met in 2006 at the Cannes Film Festival, but nothing romantic happened between the pair – as they were both in longterm relationships – until they reconnected in 2022 at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon, where the model presented Tim with a lifetime achievement award.
Monica previously dated Nicolas Lefebvre before their split in 2019. She was also maried to French actor Vincent Cassel between 1997 and 2013. The former couple met in 1996 on the set of Gilles Mimouni’s film l’Appartement.
They share daughters Deva (born in 2004) and Leonie (born in 2010).
Meanwhile, Tim was famously married to Helena Bonham Carter, who he worked with on Planet of the Apes (2001), Big Fish (2003), Corpse Bride (2005), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007).
They also worked together on Dark Shadows (2012), Alice in Wonderland (2010) and its sequel Alice Through The Looking Glass (2016). The duo were married for 13 years but went their separate ways in 2014.
Tim and Helena share a son called Billy, 20, and a daughter called Nell, 16. Helena previously discussed her split from Tim.
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in 2016, Helena said: "You go through massive grief - it is a death of a relationship, so it’s utterly bewildering. Your identity, everything, changes.
"Just saying: I'm not myself at the moment, so be careful. Everyone always says you have to be strong and have a stiff upper lip, but it’s okay to be fragile."
