A Chinese jump roper has grabbed widespread attention for breaking an unbeatable record in rope jumping at the 2025 World Jump-Rope Championship held in Japan. The Chinese man named Cen Xiaolin wrote his name in record books and made history by breaking the world record with a staggering 238 single-unders in just 30 seconds. The video of his performance at the World Championship is going viral on the Internet, and netizens are stunned by his never-before-seen skills.
Cen Xiaolin is known as the world’s fastest jump roper and resident of Huadu district, Guangzhou city, capital of south China’s Guangdong Province. Previously, he was in talks to break his records in rope jumping in the same category of 30 seconds. This time, he took his previous record of scoring 228 jumps to 238 in just 30 seconds.

Ceb Xiaolin is from Huadu district, Guangzhou city, the capital of South China’s Guangdong Province. He was born in 2004 and broke two world records at the first World Inter-School Rope Skipping Championships held in November 2015 when he was just 11 years old. He achieved an astounding 220 jumps in the 30-second single rope speed event and an impressive 548 jumps in the 3-minute single rope endurance event.
Till now, he has been continuously breaking his records, starting from 220 jumps to 222, 226, 228, 230, and now 238 jumps. Cen has claimed numerous championships and smashed many world records in events such as the 3-minute single rope, 30-second single rope, 2×30-second double unders, 4×30-second double Dutch, and the 60-second double Dutch.
