What Happens Next?
Candidates who are shortlisted will proceed to the Stenography Skill Test, the next phase of the recruitment process. This test evaluates a candidate’s typing speed and transcription accuracy—key skills required for stenographer roles in government offices.

While the skill test is qualifying in nature, performance in this round, along with the written exam, will determine final selection. The final merit list will be prepared based on combined scores from both stages. Only those who successfully clear both the written exam and skill test will be considered for appointments to Grade C or Grade D stenographer posts.
